"Losing streak" isn't a phrase that we've associated with the Junior Bro this season, but after back to back weeks that saw him lose three games off his overall lead, it might not be unfair to call it a slump — albeit a mini one — following seven straight winning weeks. But Sean returned to his winning ways in Week 13, and in so doing inched closer to his goal of reclaiming the Surfy Trophy.

It was a 3-split weekend that included one of Sunday's high-profile matchups between the Vikings and Falcons, the former of which has been one of the few teams that has stymied the Junior Bro all season, accounting for five lost splits. "I can never figure out Minnesota," he said during our Sunday morning picks call. But even teams you can't figure out occasionally pleasantly surprise you, and such was the case as the NFC's second-best team took down Atlanta on the road, 14-9, bringing Sean a significant victory.

And speaking of teams we can't figure out, Glenn also has several of them this season, including the Dolphins and Broncos. Sean's winning week was guaranteed when Miami hammered Denver, 35-9. That left the Sunday night game between Philadelphia and Seattle to decide whether Sean would sweep the weekend or Glenn would avoid a return to his largest deficit of 2017. As Sean hasn't been able to figure out the Vikings, Glenn has had little luck figuring out Sunday night games, going just 4-8 with four split losses entering Week 13. So Seattle's 24-10 win gave him something to take the sting off an otherwise unsuccessful week.

Sean set the pace with a 12-4 record, while Glenn went 11-5 to finish second. Ben, despite being the only one who successfully picked the Cowboys and Jets, had enough stumbles along the way that he finished the week third with a 7-9 mark. We collectively all picked Baltimore, New England, Green Bay and New Orleans. The only team we all failed to pick was San Francisco, which kicked its way to just its second win of the year.
