When things are going right, even your most mediocre performance can be a success. That was the case in Week 14 for the Senior Bro, who despite missing the mark on a bunch of Sunday games still managed to notch another winning week on what appears to be another championship drive.

Entering the final quarter of the 2015 football season with so much yet to be decided in terms of the playoff picture, it seemed conceivable that the Gehlke Bros might generate another half-dozen splits, particularly where the unpredictable NFC East teams are concerned, seeing as none of them appears to have a serious interest in winning the division. The NFC East — or "Beast", as we have taken to calling it — has foiled our prognostication abilities on many occasions this year, including last week when we managed to pick none of the teams correctly. Still, something made us both believe that the Redskins would lose in Chicago (they didn't), that the Eagles would choke against the Bills (they didn't), and that Dallas would falter in Green Bay (it did, but it wouldn't have surprised us had the Cowboys pulled the upset.)

That left the Giants, who visited the Dolphins on Monday night, and it proved to be the week's only split. Glenn said Sunday morning that he didn't have much faith in his picks this week because they were "road heavy," meaning he selected eight visiting teams to win, including the Giants on Monday. Sean acknowledged Miami's poor record, but said if you threw out the games they had lost to opponents in their own division, they were pretty decent.

They looked a little less decent at the end of a 31-24 loss Monday night that allowed the Giants to keep pace with the 'Skins and Eagles for the NFC Beast lead at 6-7. For Glenn, the win pushed his lead in the overall Gehlke Bros. Football standings to 11 games, his largest of the season with three weeks to play, prompting Sean to tweet that the he should forfeit the remainder of the season because it seems "#pointless". Pointless or not, there are still 48 games left to play and the Junior Bro is still mathematically alive, so on to Week 15...

Glenn's 9-7 record was good for second place, as "Chaos Kid" Ben took the week's top honors at 10-6. Sean was third at 8-8. We all correctly picked Arizona, Seattle, Pittsburgh, Kansas City, Green Bay and New England. No one picked winners Washington, Jacksonville, New Orleans or Oakland.
