Take two of these and call us Thursday morning

Just when it appeared we were getting close to pulling the plug on the Senior Bro's ailing season, the attending physician checked the life support system following Week 14 and got a pulse. It was a very faint pulse, but a pulse nevertheless.

Riding on the shoulders of a rare 15-1 week, Glenn picked up two games on the defending Gehlke Bros. Football champion to remain in the hunt for the Surfy trophy. His lifesaving transfusions came from the most unlikely of donors: A 19-10 win by the Bengals over the visiting Rams, and an EKG jolting 23-17 overtime come-from-nowhere victory by San Diego at Tennessee. Those were the only two splits in a week where perfection could have been in grasp had only the Bucs cooperated with a win in Houston. Alas, the Texans made the lone star state the lone blip on Glenn's bid for a perfect week.

Despite Glenn's winning the week at 15-1, Junior Bro's 13-3 record was strong enough to get him a second place finish and keep him 4 games up in the season standings. Ben was third at 9-7. We all had success with Jacksonville, Buffalo, Green Bay, New England, Minnesota, Denver and Indianapolis. We all stumbled over Tampa Bay, as did the Texans en route to a 28-14 win.

AND NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT... (NOT!): We've got Thursday AND Saturday games to pick in Week 15. We'll have both posted on Thursday mourn... er, morn.
